In 2018, 45% of all job applications submitted on SEEK were made using the SEEK app, and this figure is growing rapidly. Making it easier for candidates to apply

For recruiters and employers, it’s helpful to know how the SEEK app is making it easier and faster for candidates to apply. They can:

  • Upload up to 10 tailored resumes to pick and choose from. For example, they can order their previous experience so that the most relevant roles appear at the start of their resume or list their interests with an eye on how they fit in with the specific roles they’re applying for.
  • Tailor their cover letter right in the app or upload different versions from cloud services like Dropbox and Google Drive.
  • Update their SEEK Profile directly in the app using keywords that make them more visible to employers and recruiters like you who are searching for talent like them.

It’s important to remember however that despite the rapidly changing technology, there’s no substitute for a perfectly crafted resume that clearly demonstrates a candidate’s suitability for a role. The mobile app just enhances their ability to do that more conveniently, ensuring more profiles have quality resumes attached for your viewing.
