Entries now open for the 2015 SEEK Annual Recruitment Awards (SARAs)

Calling all outstanding performers in the recruitment industry – it’s your time to shine!

Entries are now open for the annual SEEK Annual Recruitment Awards (SARAs) – awards that recognise and reward innovation, industry best practice, professionalism and leadership. Since 2002, the SARAs have become the hallmark for recognising best in breed recruiters.

In 2015, the evolution continues with the addition of a new award, a stellar judging panel and an exclusive new event format.

The six hotly-contested SARA categories

  1. Small Recruitment Agency of the Year.
  2. Medium Recruitment Agency of the Year.
  3. Large Recruitment Agency of the Year.
  4. Recruitment Leader of the Year.
  5. Most Innovative Agency of the Year.
  6. Excellence in Candidate Engagement.

Plus, a new award category in 2015

This year, we have added a very special, and we believe to be highly contested, new award to the roster: the People’s Choice Award – Recruiter or Industry Contributor of the Year. Open to all in the recruitment industry, you are asked to nominate one person outside your organisation that you believe is the most inspiring recruiter or industry contributor in Australia today. You’ll be asked to identify what you believe sets this individual apart, what defines them as an innovator and driver of credible and sustainable growth of the recruitment industry.

New event format and judges

We’ve stepped up the glamour this year, introducing a new awards event format that moves beyond chardonnay and canapés to a full formal affair. We will be hosting an exclusive seated dinner at Peninsula C at Central Pier, complete with fantastic entertainment, a highly-entertaining MC and the best in the business in attendance. Numbers are limited so we encourage you to RSVP by 31 August 2015 to secure your seat. One other key development is a new SARAs judging panel. We are lucky and humbled to have four renowned and respected individuals from the recruitment industry reviewing and judging the applications. Our judging panel is made up of:

  • Steve Granlan, CEO of RCSA.
  • Debra Eckersley, Managing Partner of PWC’s Human Capital.
  • Julie Mills, CEO of ITCRA.
  • Ben Lawrence, Chief Human Resources Officer at Wesfarmers.

Each judge brings a wealth of industry experience to the table, as well as a unique perspective, providing the awards with robust judging expertise. All four judges are dedicated to awarding the best of the best in 2015.
